I submitted 2 warranty requests on 3 Craftsman rachets, ¼", 3/8" and ½" all bought in the 1990's. The warranty service was great to me and received all of my rachets between 14 to 21 days.
I’ve got a couple of old tri-wing, thumb wheel ratchets(1982-91 model# 943796) that were passed down from my grandpa to my dad then me. Until recently, one of them still worked but it completely locked up like the other. I was told I could still warranty them but I’d like to keep one for sentimental/collector value & try to warranty the other. I’ve submitted a request but couldn’t select the correct date code because the selections didn’t go back far enough so I selected the oldest(2000). Will I have any luck with the request? I realize that I won’t get an exact replacement but another ratchet or a rebuild kit or something would be nice. Thanks!
