Your garage door opener is equipped with an integrated receiver logic board that "talks" to your keyless entry wirelessly, whereas your wall-mounted door control panel is hard-wired.
The wireless keyless entry and wired door control operate independently, so it is not uncommon for one device to work while the other does not. The most common cause of failure in a keyless entry is a depleted battery. If the battery has already been replaced, the problem may be a failure with the keyless entry or the receiver logic board. I just had to buy new key pads myself.
I have been going round and round trying to get help for my Miter saw. The screw to loosen the blade guard is frozen. And now stripped. Brand new. I need to put in a finer blade, and its impossible.
NO immediate tech support whatsoever. The phone number provided for my model has no one to answer the phone.

I AM GOING TO RETURN IT!! If this happens right out of the box, I am certain I will not get any help for anything else!!!!

Interesting thread , it’s surprising how many small things like battery issues or signal interference can cause big problems with devices.
